  • Terence Evans, born in 1943 in Romford, Essex, began painting purely for personal fulfillment. However, growing interest in his work soon led him to pursue art professionally, resulting in a long and successful career.

Terry Evans’ distinctive style was initially influenced by the celebrated artist Charles Lefar. He has always been open about Lefar’s impact on his early development, yet over time, Evans refined and expanded upon that inspiration, forging a technique uniquely his own.

Compared to Lefar’s work, Evans’ paintings are more intricate and technically refined. He is known for his skillful use of the palette knife, complemented by delicate, precise details added with a fine sable brush.

Terry Evans has exhibited internationally, with shows at Langres Gallery in New York, Stavanger in Norway, Rubens Gallery in Miami, as well as in Singapore and London. Terry Evan’s art is held in numerous prestigious collections, including those of the Russian Ambassador to London, Barclays Bank, and even royalty. Notably, the Queen of Ghadaf Saudi Arabia presented him with an 18-carat gold pen and pencil set in gratitude for a commissioned series of paintings.
