About the Gallery
The Rutland Gallery is a new and exciting contemporary art gallery. Located in the historic gallery town of Uppingham in Rutland, England's smallest county, The Rutland Gallery shows work by the leading British and European Artists.
Named "best place to live in the Midlands in 2022" by The Times newspaper, who referred to Uppingham as "a discerning market town with art, heart and smarts — plus the magnificent Rutland Water". A visit to The Rutland Gallery, Uppingham and its numerous art galleries is a fabulous way to spend a day in Rutland, England's smallest county.

The Rutland Gallery philosophy is that we only sell what we love and what we would hang in our own homes. The Rutland Gallery does not specialise in any particular genre, preferring an eclectic portfolio that caters, hopefully, for all tastes. The gallery collection also includes some rare artworks including the very first painting done by Jack Vettriano, a copy of Claude Monet's Poppy Fields.
The Rutland Gallery is the trading name of Oakham Galleries Ltd. Oakham Galleries were founded by John Jolley who has bought, collected and sold art for over twenty years. John is also the founder of the Oakham Contemporary and Oakham Fine Art online art galleries. John lives in Oakham, Rutland and is always available to discuss a particular artwork with you.

Artist Submissions
If you are an established artist and you are interested in our representing your work then we do periodically consider artist submissions. Please forward a current CV to the gallery - Include details of the galleries that have previously exhibited your work and some example image files of your work and send to info@rutlandgallery.com
