Solace - The Paintings of Beckie Reed
The Rutland Gallery is delighted to present Solace, the first solo exhibition of landscapes by acclaimed British artist Beckie Reed at The Rutland Gallery. Trees have long been at the heart of Reed’s distinctive and expressive paintings, and in this new body of work she explores the landscape with her characteristic energy, colour and richly textured mark-making.

Capturing the beauty, character and atmosphere of trees within their surroundings, Reed’s paintings evoke a powerful sense of stillness, connection and reflection. Solace celebrates the enduring presence of the natural world, inviting viewers to pause, look closer and discover the landscape through Reed’s uniquely vibrant and contemporary artistic vision.
The exhibition will feature 20 new paintings, and we’re delighted to share an initial selection of five below. The full collection will be available to view online from Saturday 19th September 2026.
