Nic Grimoldby

Nic Grimoldby began his creative journey with a Foundation course at Doncaster Art College before graduating in Interior Design. Nic Grimoldby’s early career was a dynamic mix of entrepreneurship and athletics—building a thriving interior design business while also playing professional Rugby League.

Nic had the opportunity to return to his first love, painting and sculpture and has developed a style of primarily figurative based works, which are fractured and distorted to give the images further depth and intrigue. His paintings reference both cubism and expressionism.

Following a recent diagnosis of Parkinson’s, Nic has found fresh motivation to create impactful work, embracing the condition as both a challenge and a creative influence. A portion of the proceeds from his art goes to support Parkinson’s UK, blending his artistic journey with a deeper purpose.
